Carroll University
Office of Global Education

The Office of Global Education (OGE) offers immigration and cultural support for F-1 international students through intentional advising and globally-focused programming to ensure a holistic university experience.

Services include: student orientation, off-campus employment workshops, student advising, and International Education Week. This office also supports students navigating the Cross-Cultural Experience process. We advise on international, domestic, and local faculty-led courses as well as study abroad programs.

Programs & Services

The Office of Global Education provides these services for current international students attending Carroll.

Student Orientation

All new international students at Carroll University participate in an orientation program prior to the start of classes. This program provides an introduction to the programs and services of the university, as well as to the American culture and educational system.

Academic Advisement

OGE provides academic advising for all international exchange students. All degree-seeking students receive academic advisement from a faculty advisor in their chosen department.

Immigration and Visa Advising

Passport renewals, visa concerns, non-resident alien immigration forms, taxes and regulations pertaining to international students in the US can be overwhelming. Your questions regarding F-1 student status and immigration forms can be addressed in the Office of Global Education.

Social and Cultural Information

Many international students face situations which are new and different from what they are used to in the home culture. The Office of Global Education will be happy to help you if you have questions or concerns in this regard.

Get Involved

The Office of International Education is one of many great places on Carroll University's campus. Students are encouraged to stop by, say hello to the professional OGE staff members or chat with some of our friendly student workers! Feel free to check out a game to be played in our office or to be returned at a later date. You may have so much fun that you'll want to join our team! Here are a few ways to partner with OGE.
