Carroll University’s Master of Science of Athletic Training program marries foundational knowledge with real-world, practical experiences. You’ll learn how to effectively provide care for others as you interact with patients of all ages and abilities in a variety of settings. You’ll apply what you’ve learned in the classroom through hands-on experience working at local clinical placements and internship opportunities around the country. This combination of intensive coursework and practical clinical experiences will develop you into a well-rounded and knowledgeable healthcare professional.
Your final semester is a required 14-week internship, where you'll fully immerse yourself working full time in the profession. Our expert faculty will help you choose an internship that allows you to succeed and best meets your career goals. Our students have worked all over the country in high schools, rehabilitation clinics, Division I institutions, professional baseball and performing arts organizations, among others. These practical experiences will help grow your network and make connections in the professional community as you begin your job search.
