Split Commencement Eyed for 2021

Carroll University Provost Dr. Mark Blegen has announced plans to split the traditional spring commencement ceremony over two days in May, 2021.  The graduate commencement ceremony will be held Friday evening, May 7. The undergraduate commencement will take place Saturday, May 8 as previously planned.

“We decided to hold two separate commencement ceremonies, beginning in May of 2021, so that both our undergraduate and graduate students are celebrated in the unique way they all deserve,” said Blegen.
 
In addition, the traditional nursing pinning ceremony will take place Friday, May 7 at 2 p.m., followed by the Baccalaureate service at 5 p.m. The graduate graduation ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. that same evening. The undergraduate graduation ceremony will be held the following morning, Saturday, May 8 at 10:30 a.m.

The university continues to monitor COVID-19 and will adapt plans as needed.
