Group of Carroll students

Thank you to those who have already made their annual gift to The Carroll Fund or other areas of need on campus.

As we near the end of the year, now is the perfect time to show your support of Carroll by making a gift of any size, and to take advantage of temporary tax benefits ending December 31, 2021.

In addition, if you would like to take advantage of temporary tax benefits ending December 31, 2021 there is still time to make your gift! The CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act) can make your gift even more powerful this year. You may deduct charitable contributions of up to 100% of adjusted gross income (“AGI”) through the end of 2021.

The requirements for deducting of up to 100% of AGI:

(1) Donations must be in cash/check/securities.

(2) Donations must be made to a public charity like Carroll University (not to a donor advised fund or most private foundations).

(3) Donations must be made by December 31, 2021.

All donors are eligible to deduct up to $300 of charitable contributions, under the CARES Act, whether you itemize deductions or take the standard deduction. That’s $300 you won’t have to pay taxes on, even if you don’t itemize. Your donations, big or small, are so important to our students and our continued success.

If you are interested in discussing the various ways you can support Carroll please contact Jim Rychner, Assistant Vice President for Development, at 262.524.7240 or

Thank you!

“I want to take some time to thank the donors who really have helped give students opportunities to have a welcoming and inclusive experience at Carroll. And most of all, I am thankful for their donations, for allowing me to continue my studies and my involvement at Carroll.”
