The inaugural Masters of Occupational Therapy (MOT) Class of 2017 is setting the bar high for future program graduates. In total, 29 students graduated with a Masters in Occupational Therapy and each of those students passed the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) exam on the first try. This is a great accomplishment for any program but it is especially special for a new program like Carroll’s MOT program.

Occupational therapists help people of all ages overcome challenges and participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations). They work closely with those who need specialized assistance to lead independent, productive and satisfying lives due to physical, developmental, social or emotional problems.

Carroll’s MOT program is an accelerated two-year, post-baccalaureate program that prepares students to pursue one of the most rewarding and fastest growing health care careers in Wisconsin and nationwide.
