Kaitlyn (Goth) ‘13, Kyle ‘11, and Henry Jacobson

Kyle and I met after my roommates and I moved into the lower unit of a duplex in which Kyle lived in the upper unit with four of his roommates in June 2010. We all became fast friends. Our relationship started as a friendship by grabbing breakfast in the MDR with two other roommates every morning. 

In March 2011, we began dating. Kyle graduated in May 2011.  With our relationship ever so fresh, Kyle left to work at a weight loss camp in New York for the entire summer. We FaceTimed, texted, and called to keep in touch. When Kyle came back he found a place to live in West Milwaukee after living with my roommates and I for a couple of months. 

I spent most of my time over there until my lease ended and then I moved in with him. We continued to date and Kyle decided it was time to propose on March 31, 2013 in front my family. I graduated in May 2013.  

We got married August 2, 2014, bought our home in August, 2015, and welcomed our son, Henry, into the world on August 16, 2016.  If I had not gone to Carroll I would not have met my amazing husband and have my even more amazing son.  It has been an amazing journey that I feel so blessed to be on.
