Marjorie (Midge) (Glass) '56 and Jim Pinkerton '54

Midge Glass met Jim Pinkerton when we were both at Carroll. We both dated others, but got together when I was a sophomore and Jim was a senior, his last semester at Carroll. By the end of the semester. we knew that we were in love. Jim went into the army, was stationed in France, and I wrote to him every day.  When he got home, he went to grad school at the Univ. of Wisconsin, in Madison, so I got a teaching job in Pardeeville, as near Madison as I could find one.
 
We were married on June 29, 1957, had two wonderful children, and a wonderful life together. Jim got Alzheimers, and died in 2007.  I still love him and miss him with all my heart.
