Transferology

Transferology helps you explore how your previous courses may transfer to Carroll prior to admission. After you’re admitted, you must request official transcripts for a final evaluation.

If a Course is Not Listed

If a course appears under the “Maybe” tab in Transferology, please request more information to start an official equivalency review. If you don’t see your institution or course listed at all, contact Admissions to request an equivalency evaluation.

Current Carroll Students

Use the Find a Replacement Course tool to search for courses you can take at another institution and transfer back to Carroll. If you do not see an equivalency for the school or course you plan to take, you must complete a Transfer Credit Approval (TCAP) Form to have the course evaluated.

All students are required to submit a TCAP form and receive approval from the Registrar’s Office before enrolling in any transfer course—even if the course already appears in Transferology.

Please Note:

  • Courses already taken at Carroll (except those with a W grade) may only be repeated at Carroll. Your final 32 credits must be completed at Carroll University.
  • At least one-fourth of your major and minor credits must be taken at Carroll.
  • All transfer coursework must be completed with a grade of C- or better to be accepted toward graduation.
  • A Transfer Credit Approval Form is required for all transfer coursework.
