Course Schedule | Master of Science in Exercise Physiology

The Master of Science in Exercise Physiology Program is typically completed as a full-time student. Full-time enrollment is considered nine or more graduate credits per semester or term. The Master of Science in Exercise Physiology Program requires a total of 58 credit hours to include nine credits of core requirements and 49 credits of concentration requirements (including practicum courses). Students have the option to complete a traditional thesis or an applied graduate project. The course schedules indicate the course sequencing for full-time enrollment.

Practicums

Students in the clinical concentration will accumulate more than 700 hours of clinical experience through three practicums and a 14-week internship. Recommended experiences would meet the requirements for becoming an ACSM registered clinical exercise physiologist (RCEP):
