Academic Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Degree from an accredited university
  • 2.75 cumulative gpa or higher

International Admission Process

  4. Official Post-Secondary Transcripts - From all institutions attended
    • Official transcripts must be sent from the institution to gradinfo@carrollu.edu or mailed to: Carroll University | 100 N. East Avenue | Waukesha, WI 53186
    • If academic work is from outside the U.S., an official course-by-course evaluation report from a NACES member evaluation service such as WES, ECE, or SPANTRAN is required.
  5. Proof of English Proficiency - If the applicant's native language is not English an official English proficiency exam (TOEFL, IELTS, MELAB, or Duolingo) is required and must be sent directly from the testing agency to Carroll University.
    • The Carroll University institution code is 1101.
    • Score results must be from a test taken within the last two years.
    • Applicants who are citezens of or who have received a bachelor's degree from one of the following countries are exempt from the English proficiency requirement: Australia, Belize, the British Caribbean and British West Indies, Canada (except Quebec), England, Guyana, Ireland, Liberia, New Zealan, Scotland, and U.S., and Wales.
    • Minimum required TOEFL Score: 79 (IBT) / 213 (CBT) / 550 (PBT)
    • Minimum required IELTS Score: 6
    • Minimum required MELAB Score: 85
    • Minimum requried Duolingo Score: 115
  6. F-1 Visa Documents - Students in F-1 Visa status must submit the following:
    • Statement of Financial Support
    • Bank statement
    • Copy of passport. 

IELTS USA Andrea Scott International Graduate Scholarship

Award Timeline:

  • February 12, 2024 - Application Opens
  • April 22, 2024 - Application Deadline
  • June 2024 - Finalist Interviews
  • July 2024 - Award Notification

The IELTS USA Andrea Scott International Graduate Scholarship is a US$5000 tuition scholarship that is awarded to an international graduate student enrolling in an accredited US college or university. The scholarship can be renewed for up to three years if you maintain a good academic standing.
