Countdown to Commencement

ORDER YOUR CAP & GOWN package by April 9th if you plan to participate in your Commencement Ceremony!!! All items you order from Herff Jones will be shipped directly to your home.  Your commencement regalia comes as a bundle package which includes your cap, gown, tassel, and Carroll stole, (or hood if you are in a graduate program).

Senior Week

Friday, May 7

Reception | Toast to our Graduates
3 p.m.  |  Schneider Stadium

Gather with your classmates and Carroll mentors, as all celebrate your accomplishment together. The reception will begin with the seniors' toast followed by the official Class of 2021 drone photo.

Baccalaureate |  Blessing of the Graduates
4 p.m.  |  Virtual

Commemorate your Carroll years through this special ceremony of blessing and final convocation. All graduates and their guests are welcome, regardless of religious affiliation. The service will be live-streamed this year by our University Chaplain, Rev. Elizabeth McCord, and students who join virtually will receive one convocation point for full attendance.

Undergraduate student lineup begins in Van Male Fieldhouse at 9 a.m.

**Commencement is the ceremony at which degrees are conferred. It features bagpipers leading the procession of graduates, speeches by Carroll's President, the chair of the board of trustees, the class speaker and a keynote address.  Contingent on COVID-19 gathering restrictions, a reception will follow the ceremony on at the Campus Center Parking Lot Tent.


​As with everything during this most unusual time, we continue to monitor the local environment in response to COVID-19 and will make any necessary adjustments. Your health and safety is our primary concern.
