Economics Minor

Economics is a decision science. Economists focus on costs and benefits in order to make intelligent decisions, specifically looking at how things are affected on the margin. They look at making decisions from both the production and consumption side and at all levels. Economists explore how decisions are made by individual consumers and businesses, versus decision making that effects the entire U.S. economy or the entire global economy. An economics minor will provide a framework for making optimal decisions and help you understand how the decisions of others (individuals, businesses, the government, or other countries) can and may impact you.
