President’s Taskforce on Institutional Inclusion

The President’s Taskforce on Institutional Inclusion is comprised of students, faculty, staff and administrators, and is chaired by Vanessa Perez Topczewski, associate dean of diversity, equity and inclusion and Dolores Ocampo Brown, senior director of alumni engagement. The taskforce is charged with the opportunity to evaluate and track campus climate, recommend initiatives, policies, and practices to enhance the University’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, and advise senior leadership on critical diversity, equity and inclusion issues.

The President’s Taskforce on Institutional Inclusion provided updates on the new Institutional Inclusion Statement, Campus Equity Protocol and data from our Inaugural DEI Campus Climate Survey.

These sessions were virtual and provided time for questions and answers. Students, faculty and staff were invited to attend.

President's Taskforce: Campus Climate Data

Carroll's Inaugural Campus Climate Assessment went live in March 2020 and asked members of the campus community about DEI experiences, perspectives, policies, and practices. The intent of the assessment was to help guide the creation of the President’s Taskforce on Institutional Inclusion's rolling action plan and serve as a foundation for the on-going conversations among the campus community around diversity, equity, and inclusion. Join us for an opportunity to view some of the initial findings, provide feed-back and discuss next steps.
