Biography

Professor Hofkamp has worked in the field of education for more than 20 years. Since 2005, she has worked at Carroll University leading candidates through the Teacher Education Program for licensure and a degree. As the former president of Wisconsin Independent Colleges of Teacher Education (WICTE), collaboration with teacher preparation programs across the state has provided perspective for her work.

What is your teaching style?

I am passionate about teaching and learning. Active engagement, experiential learning and responding to students’ needs are components of my educational philosophy. I believe it’s crucial to approach opportunities with a curious mind to consider a variety of perspectives.
