Biography

Dr. James Brandes joined Carroll University as the Program Director of the Physician Assistant Studies Program in June 2018. During his career, Dr. Brandes has spoken extensively and published many pieces on nephrology as well as received many awards. 

Dr. Brandes most recently served as the CEO and president of nephrology practice of Midwest Nephrology Associates in Milwaukee, Wis. He is a Kenosha, Wis. native and is married with four children.
