General Parking Information

Carroll University maintains parking facilities throughout the campus for use by members of the university community and guests. University parking facilities are available only for those using Carroll University facilities or those who have received permission from the Public Safety Center. The parking areas next to residence halls are restricted to resident parking 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Resident permits are required to park in these lots and in other designated resident lots.

New for 2023-2024

  • All 2023-2024 resident and commuter parking applications are to be submitted online ONLY. Applications will not be accepted by in-person drop off or mailing to the Public Safety Center.
  • All 2023-2024 resident and commuter parking permits will be distributed either by US Mail for commuter, or delivered to your campus mailbox for resident. There will be NO in-person permit pick-up unless special arrangements have been made.

Guest Parking

  • Guests may park without permit in Lots 3, 5N, 9, 10, and 12 until 2 a.m. In addition, guests may park with a "special" permission permit in Lot 6 until 2 a.m. Please see posted signage in lots.
  • Overnight parking for guests is allowed only in Lots 5N, 9, 10 and 12 seven days a week. An overnight guest vehicle is required to have an overnight parking permit. This overnight permit can be purchased by the hosting student at the Public Safety Center. Cost is $1.00 a night, with a maximum of 5 nights in a row and a maximum of 10 nights per semester. Please note, Carroll Cash is the only form of payment accepted at Public Safety. Guests may also park in the short-term parking spaces near the larger residence halls. Please see posted signage.
