Waukesha State Bank, a full-service community bank with 13 locations in Waukesha County, awarded 20, $1,000 scholarships to first-year students at Carroll University. Since 1996, Waukesha State Bank has been supporting Carroll students through their Carroll University Scholars program, awarding scholarships based on community service, job experience and participation in extracurricular activities.
Created to support undergraduates entering Carroll University from Waukesha County high schools, the program has impacted over 350 Carroll students.
“We are proud to have supported Carroll University scholarships for the last 22 years,” said Ty Taylor, president and CEO of Waukesha State Bank. “Our annual scholarship commitment demonstrates our pledge to education and our local students.”
“We are grateful for Waukesha State Bank’s continued commitment to Carroll University and our students,” stated Melissa Baxter, director of foundation and corporate relations for Carroll University. “Through the years, many of the local students supported by Waukesha State Bank have stayed in the area and continued their impact through work, family and volunteerism.”
