The 2017 graduating class from Carroll University’s Nursing Program has something to celebrate. In total, 78 students graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and each of those students passed their NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination) exam on the first try. That accomplishment ranks the nursing program as the best in the State of Wisconsin from April-September 2017. Additionally, the program was also ranked #1 out of 1,899 programs in the country.

“We are extremely proud of our 2017 graduates’ accomplishment in achieving a 100% pass rate,” said Jamie Hansen, PhD, RN, CNE, interim chair of the department of nursing. “This outcome shows both the commitment of the nursing faculty as well as the hard work of our students in preparation for their professional careers.”

Many students accepted positions in healthcare systems across Wisconsin and other states following graduation, and will be working in areas such as pediatrics, emergency department, ICU, oncology and others.
