Academic Program: Master of Science of Athletic Training

Tell me about yourself. Where are you from? What’s your major?

I grew up in Milwaukee with an older brother and a twin brother. I enjoy playing basketball, cooking, and taking trips up-north with the family. I received my undergraduate degree in exercise science, and I anticipate receiving my master's degree in athletic training.

Why did you choose this program at Carroll? What are your career aspirations?

I chose the MSAT program because it aligned with my sports medicine interests, and it provided me with individualized opportunities based on my future goals. I hope to bring athletic training principles to any physically demanding field whether it is in an orthopedic clinic, industrial setting, or a profession that has yet to benefit from an athletic training staff.

What is the most memorable experience you’ve had in your education at Carroll?

One of my most memorable educational experiences at Carroll would be working with the patients at the CUCHS Orthopedic Clinic. It is one that I look back on and appreciate the one-on-one patient experience and practice in the evaluative and rehab process.
