Undergraduate B.S. – North Dakota State University - 1984
Graduate Ph.D. – University of Colorado - 1991
Areas of Specialization:
Research includes the study of weakly bound molecular complexes as a way to probe intermolecular forces that are responsible for holding together different molecules. These complexes are formed in a high vacuum environment and studied with an infrared laser. Also of interest is the development of laboratory experiments at all levels in the chemistry curriculum that utilize absorption and fluorescence techniques.
