Applied Physics and Engineering Dual-Degree Program

Engineers apply fundamental computational, scientific and mathematical tools to real-world problems. They develop solutions for needs in construction, transportation, manufacturing, computers and software, telecommunications, medicine, energy, electrical power and practically every human industry.

In this program, you'll experience the benefits of a quality and affordable Carroll education and receive two undergraduate degrees in just five years, one in Applied Physics from Carroll and the other in the engineering discipline of your choice from UW-Milwaukee or UW-Platteville. With our 3+2 dual-degree program, you'll spend your first three years in pre-engineering courses at Carroll University, enjoying small class sizes, personal attention and the vast network of local internship opportunities before finishing your schooling at one of our partner engineering schools where you will study the upper level engineering courses specific to your discipline.

UW-Milwaukee currently offers programs in Biomedical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, Materials, and Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. UW-Platteville offers majors in Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, Mechanical, and Software Engineering as well as Engineering Physics.
