Biochemistry is the study of the chemistry life processes and is a vital piece of understanding medical science. Carroll University's program places an emphasis on the chemistry of human health, structural enzymology, protein chemistry, and preparation for medical school, graduate school, or a variety of careers. Modern scientific instrumentation is available and incorporated into all courses of the curriculum. Students are encouraged to consult with chemistry faculty about the various emphases and opportunities associated with each.
