M.F.A. – Texas Tech University, Studio Arts, emphasis in Photography and Painting

M.A. – University of New Mexico, Art Education

Licensed Midwife - State of New Mexico, trained at Shari Daniels Clinic in El Paso Texas

B.S. – University of California, Davis, Community Nutrition minor in Psychology
 
Areas of Specialization:
Painting and Drawing; Cross-Cultural Experience-CCS300; Global Perspectives-CCS400
 
Scholarly and Professional Achievements:
Work exhibited nationally and internationally in over 100 exhibitions including shows juried by curators from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.

Paintings have been exhibited in museums in Toulouse, France; Saitama, Japan; Milwaukee and West Bend, Wisconsin.

Published in books & journals including: Et Pour Toi, C’est Quoi l’Art? ;  Seasons of Change ; CALYX

Book Cover Art :  Sundered; Engraved Tablet; Arc of Grief

Published collaborative book of paintings & poetry:
Shield / Le Bouclier, which is included in the Morrison Library Special Collections, UC Berkeley and in the Franklin Furnace Artist Book Collection at MOMA in New York City.
 
Service to Carroll University or the Profession:
Served on numerous Carroll University Committees including: Academic Steering, General Education, Faculty Development, Tenure & Promotion, International & Multicultural Curriculum

Received external grants to develop and run an intergenerational art program with the Milwaukee Art Museum, senior citizens and Carroll students – Art for Life.

Teaches several international courses including: Travel Writing and Sketching in Italy.
 
Honors and Awards:
Received seven Faculty Development Grants at Carroll

Artist Residency at CAMAC in Marnay-sur-Seine, France

Purchase Award, 23rd National Exhibition, Harper College

Percent for the Arts – Fine Arts Capital Renewal Collection
