Quadracci, four others join Carroll College Board of Trustees

WAUKESHA, WIS.— Thomas A. Quadracci, president and chief operating officer of Quad/Graphics Inc., and four others recently have joined the Carroll College Board of Trustees.

               Quadracci, who helped found Quad/Graphics in 1971 with his brother, Harry, now presides over a company that has grown from 11 original employees to 11,000. Today, Quad/Graphics has annual sales of $1.8 billion with plants on three continents. Before being named president in July 2002, Thomas Quadracci was the company's executive vice president, a member of the board of directors and president of Quad/Tech, the company's research and design division.

                Quadracci, a graduate of Regis University in Denver, attended Stanford University's School of Chemistry. He lives in Hartland with wife, Susan. The couple has two sons.

                 Others who joined the Carroll College Board of Trustees are:

               Philip C. Brown, executive presbyter of The Presbytery of Milwaukee. From 1982 to 1988, he served on the board of directors of Maryville College, where he earned his bachelor's degree in 1964. Brown earned graduate degrees at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago in 1968 and 1982. He was ordained by the Presbytery of Chicago in 1969 and joined the Presbytery of Milwaukee in 1996. He and wife Lynn Tucker have two adult sons.

               Jeffrey T. Cummisford, a 1973 graduate of Carroll College. He is a former senior vice president for lending at First Financial Bank and at TCF Bank of Wisconsin. In 1997, Cummisford joined three other executives from Fleet Mortgage Group to form Amerihome Mortgage Inc., where he is now senior vice president and partner. The company, a Future 50 Award Winner and the fifth largest mortgage company in Milwaukee, delivers personalized mortgage financing services at locations in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, California and Michigan. Cummisford, who has served on the Carroll College Alumni Council,  was inducted into the college's Hall of Fame in 2002. He and wife Lynn, also a 1973 Carroll graduate, live in the town of Waukesha and have two children.

               Steven C. Miller, a 1976 graduate of Carroll College and president of BeneCo of Wisconsin, which specializes in customizing benefit solutions based on clients' needs. He is a former sales representative for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, where he rose to manager of brokerage sales and national accounts. Miller also was involved in the formation of Take Control, a health promotion company for Blue Cross, and was its president. He joined BeneCo in 1986. He is also a benefits consultant to local and national employers, associations and organizations. Miller, who was inducted into the college's Hall of Fame in 1990, is married to Nancy. They live in Okauchee, Wis., and have three children.

                        David J. Vetta, a 1976 graduate of Carroll and now leader of the Private Client Services Account Management team at Banc One Investment Advisors. He also represents insurance and investment services for Banc One's Investment Management Group. Vetta, who now lives in Dublin, Ohio, has a long record of community service in the Waukesha area. He is a former president of the Board of Directors of the Waukesha Memorial Hospital Foundation, and has held volunteer positions with the United Way in Waukesha County, the Waukesha YMCA, the Waukesha YWCA and the Waukesha Area Chamber of Commerce. He was inducted into the Carroll College Hall of Fame in 1990. He and wife Katy, a 1978 Carroll graduate, have three daughters.
