WAUKESHA, WIS.— Ron Lostetter, vice president of finance and administrative services at Carroll College, has been elected president of the Central Association of College and University Business Officers. His term runs from October 2007 through September 2008. In 2008 and 2009, Lostetter will serve on the board of directors of the National Association of College and University Business Officers.
Lostetter joined the Carroll staff in October 2006. He was previously vice chancellor for administration and finance, and chief financial officer at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. His is a certified public accountant with nearly 35 years of experience in higher education, both as a faculty member and administrator. He has held administrative positions at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Superior and UW-La Crosse. He has taught business courses at UW-La Crosse, UW-Stevens Point and at Cardinal Stritch University.
As CACUBO president, he oversees the nonprofit association of chief business officers of more than 700 institutions throughout the North Central region of the United States. CACUBO promotes sound principles and practices of education
business administration through professional development programs and concerted actions in matters that affect the financial health of colleges and universities.
