Carroll University Commencement happens Sunday, May 14

More than 670 students will receive diplomas at Carroll University’s Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 14 which also happens to be Mother’s Day. In total, 519 graduates are expected to earn bachelor’s degrees, 79 expected to earn master’s degrees and 73 expected to earn Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees. They will be joined by thousands of parents and guests at the traditional outdoor ceremony marked by bagpipers and carillon music which will begin at 10:30 am on the lawn in front of Main Hall on East Avenue.

This year’s event will be President Doug Hastad’s final Commencement ceremony. He is set to retire at the end of June 2017. Jim DeJong ’73, chairman of the Milwaukee law firm of O’Neil, Cannon, Hollman, DeJong and Laing S.C. will provide the keynote address.
