Admission to Feb. 9 Carroll games is free with food donation

WAUKESHA, WIS.— Community members who attend the Pioneers men’s and women’s basketball games on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, can get in free with the donation of two non-perishable food items.

Both Pioneers teams play the Fighting Scots of Monmouth College at Carroll’s Van Male Field House, 221 N. Barstow St. The women play at 3 p.m. and the men at 5 p.m. Regular admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and children under 15.

The food drive is part of the Carroll Office of Alumni Engagement’s third annual National Day of Service. In partnership with Target Corp. and Feeding America, the effort, which includes Carroll alumni and friends across the country, aims to collect food and cash equal to 35,000 meals by April 13, 2013.
