January 7, 2013

WAUKESHA, WIS.— A new art exhibit will be displayed at Carroll University starting Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013. Milwaukee Area Teachers of Art present their latest drawings, prints and photographs in the Marceil Pultorak Atrium Gallery of Humphrey Art Center, 238 N. East Ave., and in Main Hall, 120 N. This year’s exhibition is juried by Valerie Christell, an adjunct art professor at Alverno College. It will feature a memorial tribute to Carol Rowan, a renowned pastel artist and retired art teacher in the West Allis School District who died on Nov. 2, 2012.

A reception will be 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, and the show will run through Saturday, Feb. 9. All gallery visits are free and open to the public.
