WAUKESHA, WIS.— Declan Boran-Ragotzy, a junior at Carroll University, will reflect on his life as a person with disabilities at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012. "Once Upon a Time" will be in Shattuck Music Center, 218 N. East Ave., Waukesha. This event is free and open to the public.
The presentation will examine what life can be like for a person with disabilities. Through a variety of media and personal stories, Boran-Rogatzy will highlight the importance of perseverance and the power of hope despite bullying, exclusion and stereotypes. Representatives from Good Friends and United Cerebral Palsy will have information available at the event.
