WAUKESHA, WIS.— Students entering grades 6-12 who are enrolled in a Carroll Academy drama class will present “The Hobbit” on Friday, July 27, 2012. The performance begins at 4:30 p.m. in Otteson Theatre, 238 N. East Ave., Waukesha. Tickets are $5 adults or $3 students and seniors 60 and older, and are available at the door 30 minutes prior to the performance.
“The Hobbit” is written by Edward Mast, adapted from J.R.R. Tolkien’s novel, and produced by special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Ill. This suspenseful journey through the world of Middle Earth follows Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the wizard, Thorin Oakenshield, dwarfs and others on their adventure to recover the lost treasure of Lonely Mountain.
