Carroll faculty present trilingual recital

WAUKESHA, WIS.— Thomas Weis, a lyric bass and instructor of voice at Carroll University, will perform with collaborative pianist Rhonda Kwiecien on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at 4 p.m. in the Dorothy Goff Frisch Recital Hall of Shattuck Music Center, 218 N. East Ave., Waukesha. This event is free and open to the public.

The Don Quixote-inspired recital will include compositions by Maurice Ravel, Isaac Albéniz, Jacques Ibert, Mitch Leigh and Manuel de Falla, and will be performed in English, Spanish and French. There also will be a special extended intermission featuring Spanish guitar selections by Larry McDonald, a guitar instructor at the Hartland Music/Waukesha County Conservatory.
