Brock Rumohr exhibits ceramic sculpture at Carroll

WAUKESHA, WIS.—Brock Rumohr, an adjunct lecturer of art at Carroll University, will display his ceramic sculptures from Feb. 16-March 17, 2012. The exhibit is in the Rowe Art Gallery of the Humphrey Art Center, 238 N. East Ave., Waukesha, with a reception on Thursday, Feb. 23, from 6-8 p.m.
Rumohr is a Greendale native who lives in Waukesha with his family. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with an art education degree and earned his Master of Fine Arts degree in studio ceramics from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Rumohr teaches ceramics and sculpture full time at Kettle Moraine High School, and teaches art at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield and at Carroll University. He has exhibited his work throughout the Midwest region and actively pursues public art collaborations. His website is http://brockrumohr.com.
Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 2-4 p.m. The gallery will be closed March 3-11. All visits are free and open to the public.
