Local teachers display art at Carroll

WAUKESHA, WIS.— An exhibition of drawings, prints and photographs created by members of Milwaukee Area Teachers of Art will be displayed at Carroll University starting Jan. 14, 2012. The show will be displayed through Feb. 11 in the Marceil Pultorak Atrium Gallery and Rowe Art Gallery of Humphrey Art Center, 238 N. East Ave., Waukesha. A reception, open to the public, will be 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21.
This exhibit will highlight artwork completed in drawn, printed or photographic media, including digital or traditional photography, block, monoprints, etching, lithography or other fine art printing processes. The juror is Barbara Reinhart, associate professor of art at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha and a Dousman artist. Awards will be presented during the reception.
All gallery visits are free and open to the public. Hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 2-4 p.m.
