WAUKESHA, WIS.— In just two weeks Carroll University will present its annual Madrigal Dinner, a Renaissance feast with live entertainment. The event will be Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, and begins with traditional wassail at 4 p.m. in the Campus Center, 101 N. East Ave., Waukesha. Guests will then be escorted to their tables in the Stackner Ballroom for the feast.
Call the music office at 262.524.7182 for a reservation form. Tickets are $35; the cost includes a reserved-seat ticket to "Christmas at Carroll." Reservations will be accepted through Nov. 28 or until sold out.
The dinner features performances by costumed members of the Vocal Collective, with a brass quartet, recorder ensemble, king and queen, and a court jester. It is held prior to the annual "Christmas at Carroll" concert.
