Somlai, a Zen Buddhist master teacher and co-founder of the Original Root Zen Center in Racine, Wis., will lead the workshop based on the book "Peace Vigil: Living Without Hesitation." The first hour of the Peace Vigil Workshop is dedicated to exploring internal observations that lead to love and kindness. The second hour is dedicated to exploring external observations that relate to compassionate responses to the world. The workshop is interactive and focuses on everyday application of the basic peace principles. Somlai's teachings are based on the belief that participants can change the direction of their lives and the world in which we live.
