WAUKESHA, WIS. — For the first time, Carroll University will host a Veteran’s Day banquet to honor past and present service members. This event will be in the Stackner Ballroom of the Campus Center, 101 N. East Ave., Waukesha, starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013. Attendance is free and open to the public, but seating is limited.

Medina is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and staff adviser to Carroll University’s Student Veterans Organization, which is hosting this event.
The program will include an Air Force ROTC color guard, a formal POW/MIA ceremony, and recognition of graduating active military and veteran students. Dinner is a pasta bar and live entertainment will be performed by Bam Bam and the Gigolos. Attendees will include members of the Waukesha VFW Post and the Waukesha County Detachment of the Marine Corps League.
This is a formal event. Guests should wear league formal wear, suits, dresses or gowns.
Carroll University is dedicated to helping veterans realize success as they transition back to civilian life and complete their education. As a voluntary Yellow Ribbon School, Carroll provides additional financial support to veterans, their spouses or children with a Freedom Scholarship.
