WAUKESHA, WIS.— “Spring Awakening,” a rock musical with book and lyrics by Steven Sater and music by Duncan Sheik, will be presented on the Otteson Theatre stage at Carroll University, 238 N. East. Ave., Waukesha. The Carroll Players performances are Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Based on the play “Spring’s Awakening” by Frank Wedekind, it tells the story of a group of late 19th century German students’ electrifying journey through the years of teenage self-discovery and coming-of-age anxiety.
