As you end your days at Carroll University and take those first steps beyond, many exciting opportunities and challenges will come your way. Commencement is the ceremony at which degrees are conferred. It is an occasion of great significance to graduates, families and friends, and a formal recognition of academic achievements. Attendance is expected.
Baccalaureate is the nondenominational worship service at which graduates are honored.

No tickets are required for Baccalaureate or the outdoor Commencement ceremony. Seating is reserved for faculty and graduates, and first-come, first-served for general admission family and guests.
The university will monitor the weather closely and will make a decision by 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 11, as to the site of the Commencement ceremony. If the sun is shining, note that there is not much shade on Main Lawn. If the weather forecast is for "occasional showers," the ceremony will be held outdoors. Please plan accordingly.
If you cannot make it to the Baccalaureate and/or Commencement ceremony, or choose to stay home due to bad weather, a live stream of the ceremony will be shown through our webpage. The live feed can be found by clicking on the "Carroll Live" tab on the top right corner of the Carroll University webpage.
An all-you-care-to-eat buffet will be between the Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremonies.
