Carroll Alumnus Received Wisconsin Art Educator Award

Frank Juarez '97, a Carroll University Alumnus, received the Wisconsin Art Educator of the Year award. Wisconsin Art Educator of the Year is awarded to a Wisconsin Art Education Association (WAEA) member who has significantly demonstrated a long-term contribution to the WAEA and art education on the local, state and national levels. Juarez is the art department chair at Sheboygan North High School. He is actively involved in local, regional, state, and national arts organization such as the WAEA, National Art Education Association, Milwaukee Artist Resource Network, Arts Wisconsin, Cedarburg Cultural Center, and is the former director of the Sheboygan Visual Artists. In 2011, he opened the Frank Juarez Gallery in Sheboygan.   more

Carroll Athletes to Compete in Track Championship Meet

Three student-athletes will represent Carroll University at the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championship meet. The NCAA meet will be hosted by St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York from May 21-23.   more

Carroll University's 2nd Annual Summer Repertory Series

Carroll University's 2nd Annual Summer Repertory Series will feature two popular productions, "Rent" by Jonathan Larson and "Women of Manhattan" by John Patrick Shanley. The productions are in collaboration with Outskirts Theatre Co. and will be directed by Carroll University's Lecturer in Theatre and Arts Management Jennifer Dobby. Both performances are open to the public and will feature 21 Carroll University students, Carroll University alumni, and members of Outskirts Theatre Co. General admission to "Rent" is $10, and free to Carroll University students, faculty and staff with valid identification. Admission to "Women of Manhattan" is free to all. During that time, "Rent" will be performed June 18, 20, and 26 at 7 p.m., and June 27 at 2 p.m. The production "Women in Manhattan" will be performed June 19, 25 and 27 at 7 p.m., and June 20 at 2 p.m.   more
