Eric Schlosser, best-selling author of "Fast Food Nation" will speak at Carroll University on Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. in Shattuck Music Center, 218 N. East Ave., Waukesha. "An Evening with Eric Schlosser" is free and open to the public. more
Exhibition will highlight alumni artists
A juried mixed media exhibition from Sept. 18-Oct. 16, 2010, will showcase Carroll University alumni artists. Visit the Marceil Pultorak Atrium Gallery of the Humphrey Art Center, 238 N. East Ave., Waukesha, 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 2-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The reception is Saturday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m.-noon and is a part of Homecoming festivities. At 11 a.m., Carroll art faculty will present on the art program, and Associate Professor Amy Cropper will discuss her mixed media drawings, displayed in the Rowe Art Gallery Sept. 7-Oct. 3. more
