Archives and Special Collection Mission Statement
The mission of the Carroll University Archives is to serve the campus community by preserving records of and relating to Carroll University, recording and documenting its history, and providing access to this information. The Special Collections, like other library collections, aims to serve students of the university, but restricts access due to condition, rarity, or historical value to the university. The Archives and Special Collections are an element of the Carroll University Todd Wehr Memorial Library, and are governed as such.

Online Finding Aids

The archives contain the publications, papers, memorabilia and other pieces of history of the college and university. Items include Trustee's and President's reports, departmental newsletters, college/university publications, student publications, and personal scrapbooks.

We are creating online finding aids for these collections so patrons can determine which collection may be of greatest use before visiting the Archives.

Archives hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm.

Please email archives@carrollu.edu for an appointment to use archival collections.
