The Independents Series(1948-1977): During the height of Greek life’s popularity (from about the 1940s to the 60s), the small number of students not in a fraternity or a sorority joined together and called themselves the Independents.  This series contains meeting minutes, scrapbooks, and programs from events.

Honorary Societies Series(1917-2010): Honorary Societies invited students who excelled in specific areas of academics or performance to join them.  This series contains various society charters, meetings minutes, and publications.

Interest Groups Series(1854-1991): The most numerous and diverse type of campus group, Interest Groups are clubs founded by students with a shared interest or goal.  The very first campus group, The Philomathean Society, falls into this category.  This series contains meeting minutes, publications, posters, and event programs.
