Essentials of Management

The Essentials of Management program teaches participants about leading others. In the three-day session, participants will:

• Gain an understanding of the role of the manager.
• Learn how to hire employees, coach them and assess their performance.
• Learn the legal side of hiring and managing employees.
• Learn to communicate effectively and handle conflict.

Class instruction takes place through large group discussion and lecture, small group discussion and exercises, case studies and skill building.
