International Education Week

November 10-16, 2017 marks the 19th anniversary of International Education Week (IEW), an annual celebration of international education and exchange worldwide. IEW is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

Carroll University is one of the hundreds of institutions across the United States and around the world that host events throughout the week to recognize international students, education abroad, and internationalization.

Each year the Office of International Education collaborates with departments and student groups to sponsor a weeklong schedule of events in celebration of International Education Week. Faculty are also encouraged to consider adding international components to their lectures and assignments during International Education Week (and always)!
