Student Scholarly Travel Program Application Process

Students interested in seeking university support to present at an academic conference should:

This is a very competitive application process and not everyone will be funded. The limit per conference is $500. Students will not receive more than a total of $500 in travel grant money during their academic career at Carroll. However, students may opt to spending only a portion of their grant money and save for later conferences (upon application approval).

A full-time faculty member must indicate support for the travel request by sending an email to Students and faculty with questions concerning the Student Scholarly Travel Grant should contact the Honors Center at or Dr. Lilly Goren, director of the Honors Program, at

Monday, January 25, 2016 Friday, March 4, 2016 4/1/16 - 6/30/16


Limited funding may be available for conferences that take place between July 1 and October 15. Email if you are interested in applying for travel stipend support for conferences in the late summer/early fall.
