Welcome

Carroll University Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program (MSPAS) has been granted Provisional Accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant  (ARC-PA) and has received approval from the HLC/NCA to award the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.

The Carroll University Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) program is a two-year post-bachelor program that will prepare students to pursue careers as a physician assistant. This career has been recognized as the health care profession with the fastest expected employment growth in Wisconsin. The curriculum includes:

  • Core knowledge about the established and evolving biomedical and clinical sciences.
  • The application of this knowledge to patient care.

The curriculum is of sufficient breadth and depth to prepare students for clinical practice of medicine and assist students in becoming critical thinkers who can apply the concepts of medical decision-making and problem solving. The MSPAS program emphasizes cultural competence and sensitivity in didactic courses, service-learning experiences and clinical rotations across the curriculum.
