Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program

Located at the Carroll University Center for Graduate Studies, the Carroll University Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) program is a two-year, post-baccalaureate program that will prepare students to pursue one of the most rewarding and fastest growing health care careers in Wisconsin and nationwide.

Physician assistants are health care professionals licensed or credentialed to practice medicine with physician supervision. As part of their comprehensive responsibilities, PAs take medical histories, conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive health care, develop and implement treatment plans, assist in surgery, and prescribe medications.

Within the physician-PA relationship, physician assistants exercise autonomy in medical decision-making and provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. A PA's practice may also include education, research, and administrative services.

We invite you to explore our website to learn more about the MSPAS Program at Carroll University!
