Master of Science in Exercise Physiology Program

Carroll's Master of Science in Exercise Physiology Program offers small, convenient classes that put the focus on you. Our program provides an innovative curriculum taught by faculty with a reputation of teaching excellence. And our extensive, hands-on experience and service learning prepares you for future job success. Choose from two concentrations:

Clinical Exercise Physiology (CEP)

The clinical concentration will prepare you to immediately sit for the ACSM-RCEP exam upon graduation, and prepare you for a job in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation as well as preventive cardiology programs and stress testing. You'll accumulate 600 hours of clinical experience.

Strength and Conditioning (SC)

This is a more traditional curriculum that will prepare you for a career in sports medicine, such as a strength and conditioning coach, performance coach or sport physiologist. You’ll complete a minimum of 400 hours in internships, getting valuable real-world experience.
