Job Title – Student Intern

Purpose of Job

  • The Human Resources Intern I will assist the Human Resources department staff in the daily operations of the Human Resources office and programs.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as first contact receptionist for the HR Department front desk.
  • Deliver mail and other related items to recipients on campus.
  • Contribute to implementation and establishment of projects related to the Human Resources Department strategic plan.
  • Coordinate resources, information and related materials to support Human Resources projects and programs.
  • Assist in maintaining employment records and files for University personnel.
  • Collaborate in the planning and execution of on-campus employee events.
  • Support Human Resources staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate student
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality is essential
  • Strong communication and organizational skills 
  • Strong customer service orientation
