Biography

Professor DeGroot joined Carroll University in 2024. She has over 23 years of nursing experience with a focus in emergency medicine, urgent care, and labor and delivery. Kerry has been working in higher education for the last 12 years across the curriculum focusing on teaching simulation, clinical, and didactic courses. Outside of teaching, Kerry enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, hiking, and playing with her dogs.
